misanthropic anthropoid

I have been posting on am3 for almost three weeks now. I am not a pro like a lot of the others on here. There are some fantastic pictures from some of the people on here and I really enjoy checking out all their pictures everyday. It is really interesting to see images from all over the world and the way they are shot. Having a daily photo blog makes me look at everything and how to capture it. It is fun.

so far all the pictures that I have put up are from three locations so far. 1.my house and yard. like the self spinning pic today. 2.The Morristown hospital where my Mom is BEATING stage 3b lung cancer and we were there over the weekend. We are 100 percent positive 100 percent of the time. Tomorrow's pic will be from her garden (so that will be the 4th location). and the 3rd location is the Kittatinny Valley State park in New Jersey where I go hiking just about every day. It's a neat park that has great trails and an airport in it.

Well I am really glad that people do write such nice comments. :) Of course posting a self pic will most certainly change that.

Two things - first off, I wish your mom all the best, and secondly a question - how did you manage to get the background to "move" and your portrait to stay steady? The photo actually appears to be moving... nicely done!

naw your posting ya self-portrait ain't going to change that because i think this is a great self-portrait shot! i like how the blur behind helps to bring out your great smile and features of ya face :)

sorry ot hear that your mom is going through lung cancer but i'm so glad to read that your mom is BEATING stage 3b lung cancer, that you guys are facing it 100 positively 100 percet of th time! way to go!

anyway have ya been showing her all the nice shots you have been capturing? i think she will love it especially when you show her your shots of her garden :)

Thank you for your open-mindedness! I hope your family has the strength to go through this hard time, NIce to see your portrait, I "don't stick on paper" as we say in my country, but this isn't paper so who knows one day I'll show my face too (I'm so ugly you know).
